About The Agency

Bestway, Inc. is a member of the Minnesota Trucking Association, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Transportation Club, the River Heights Chamber of Commerce and is an active participant in Landstar's "Share the Road" campaign. Since opening for business in 1987, the agency has been recognized numerous times for service excellence.

2008 – Bestway receives Landstar's Safety Officer of the Year award.
2008 – Bestway receives Landstar's Safety Officer of the Month award for July.
2007 – Domiciled BCO Wil Gilland Sr. is recognized as a Landstar Roadstar, the highest level of recognition a BCO can receive from Landstar.
2006 – Bestway receives Landstar's Safety Officer of the Month award.
2002 - Domiciled BCO Art Didde is recognized as a Landstar Roadstar, the highest level of recognition a BCO can receive from Landstar.
2000 - Robert "Bobby" B. Schlieske receives Landstar's LSO Council 7 Safety Officer of the Year award.
2000 - Landstar awards Bestway customer, AMERICAN EXCELSIOR, the M.U.S.T. Customer of the Year.
1999 - Bestway customer McQuay International is selected the M.U.S.T. Customer of the Year by Landstar.
1999 - Robert "Bobby" B. Schlieske receives Landstar's Safety Officer of the Year award.
1998 - Bestway's donation assists the South St. Paul Fire Department in the purchase of a thermo imaging device.
1998 - Robert "Bobby" B. Schlieske inducted into Landstar's Chief Executive Circle.
1998 - Bestway receives 10 year award from Landstar Ranger.
1997 - Bestway receives Award of Merit from South St. Paul Chamber Of Commerce.
1996 - Robert "Bobby" B. Schlieske, Bestway Owner & President, purchases 3.5 acres in South St. Paul for new 7,000 sq. ft. company headquarters.
1994 - Domiciled BCOs Ken and Mary Jane Olson are named Landstar Roadstars, the highest award given to a BCO with Landstar.
1992 - Bestway receives Salesmanship of the Year award.
1987 - Bestway becomes an independent agent for Ranger Transportation (now Landstar).

As an independent Landstar agency, Bestway has received 11 consecutive President's Awards and has been inducted 12 times in the Million Dollar Club.
